David -

John Vivian wrote a book called "Keeping Bees" and he describes how to make a real
simple and inexpensive foundation press. He uses plaster, fine grained hard cold-curing
matrix like water putty and mortar mix. The publisher is Williamson Publishing in
Charlotte, Vermont 05445 and the ISBN # is 0-413589-19-5 and sells for $10.95.
