My expectation (and hope) is that folks would have
objectively and thoroughly considered the petition, 
the weight of respected scientists including experts in honey bee biology, organizations, and studies, supporting the need to more carefully regard the risk of movement of native bees commercially before taking shots at xerces.

xerces has and is supporting honey bee issues 
in many ways that I am directly aware but do not
have the time to list here, as in about 30 
seconds 28 students will be demanding my full
attention.

Yes, xerces is focused on raising awareness
about native pollinators, increasing biodiversity
and improving ecosystem services on working lands,
but that doesn't mean they are 'anti- honey bee'.

If one searches the archives,this misconception is comprehensively addressed in June of 2007.
