[or having
[people bring their equipment to me to put the frames in and they pick up
[following day. Even med wooden boxes are hard to come by, I
[get Humble Abode to make them for me to sell at the shop.

FWIW - I'm all med. now, sell 75+ nucs/season. I have customers come in
evening with brood chamber only. I have stack of cardboard from container
boxes cut ~ 18"X 22" and scored size of super to easily bend and staple,
corners cut at 45 deg. Use a roll of plastic screening cut on table saw for
correct length and cut pieces correct width with knife on jig set on table
saw, can be done very quickly. As they wait and watch I staple cardboard to
empty brood box bottom, transfer frames into customers brood chamber, shim
in place with piece of frame top wedge I don't use and staple so frames
don't shift. Staple a screen cover and customer is off with installed bees.
Works very efficiently, perhaps 10 minutes for an installation. Perhaps
something there to try?
