I have ordered a nuc from a friend. It will be ready to install shortly. Another friend offered me a free swarm in a nuc. Rather than set up two new hives I am considering uniting the two nucs. I am planning on killing the swarm's queen, putting the frames in two individual brood boxes and uniting them with the old newspaper trick.

Any advise? Is this a stupid idea?
