When I was younger, my Aunt wrote me a letter telling my how when one ages
they find different ways of doing their chores. Aunt Olive was a
subsistence farmer; sheep, ducks, chickens, garden and orchard. She
mentioned ramps to unload feed and other back saving tips. It occurs to me
that I am about the age that my Aunt was when she wrote that letter. Today
it's be email.

Anyway, my advice: change your beekeeping goals. Stop keeping bees for
honey production and change your focus to producing nucs. You won't be
lifting 10-frame double deeps, you'll be working 5-frame boxes. Anything
building beyond 5-over-5 gets spit in half. There's more money in bees
than honey anyway.
