It is rather surprising to read such reactions to a simple request for recommendations for those interested in becoming a beekeeper. Are you and Charles seriously claiming that no other human endeavor besides beekeeping comes with recommendations for those wanting to embark on said journey?! Name any discipline, industry, hobby, sports or business activity and they all come with useful “lessons learned” or FAQs from wizened practitioners that newbies are free to ignore, if they wish. If some of them didn’t, there would be no progress, but also no fodder for comedians, :-) There are plenty other newbies who *do* appreciate not having to waste time rediscovering America, if they want to become a beekeeper.

Let’s not confuse opinions with laws.
