Any one had made or knows if the Knotweed honey have been analyzed in search
of this resveratrol?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_Knotweed
Both Japanese knotweed and giant knotweed are important concentrated sources
of resveratrol <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resveratrol>, replacing grape
byproducts.[8] <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_Knotweed#cite_note-7>Many
large supplement sources of resveratrol now use Japanese knotweed and
use its scientific name in the supplement
labels.[9]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_Knotweed#cite_note-8>The
plant is useful because of its year-round growth and robustness in
different climates.[10]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_Knotweed#cite_note-9>
...
Japanese knotweed flowers are valued by some beekeepers as an important
source of nectar for honeybees, at a time of year when little else is
flowering. Japanese knotweed yields a monofloral
honey<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monofloral_honey>,
usually called *bamboo honey* by northeastern
U.S.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States>
beekeepers <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beekeeper>, like a mild-flavored
version of buckwheat <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckwheat> honey (a
related plant also in the Polygonaceae).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_paradox

The *French paradox* is the observation that the
French<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/France>suffer a relatively low
incidence of coronary
heart disease <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronary_heart_disease>, despite
having a diet relatively rich in saturated
fats<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturated_fat>
.[1] <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_paradox#cite_note-ferrieres-0> The
phenomenon was first noted by Irish physician Samuel
Black<http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Samuel_Black_%28physician%29&action=edit&redlink=1>in
1819. The term
*French paradox* was coined by Dr. Serge Renaud, a scientist from Bordeaux
University in France in
1992.[2]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_paradox#cite_note-1>

When a description of this paradox was aired in the United
States<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States>on
*60 Minutes <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/60_Minutes>* in 1991 with the
proposal that red wine decreases the incidence of cardiac diseases, the
consumption of red wine <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_wine> increased
44% and some wineries began lobbying for the right to label their
products "health
food <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_food>".[3]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_paradox#cite_note-die-2>

...

Wines, particularly red wines, are a source of low levels of
resveratrol<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resveratrol>.
High doses of reseveratol have been linked to longevity and cancer
prevention in other
species.[13]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_paradox#cite_note-slashdot-12>
