Peter Edwards asked

Many years ago when Brian Sheriff was out here in Australia, he was telling
me of how he used to purchase virgin queens for requeening. He used to run
the virgin in the front entrance around dark with the help of some smoke.
As I recall he used to remove the old queen. He was saying he had very good
success rates. Maybe you could contact Brian to see if he is still doing
this. If not, he could give you some hints on how he did it.
