Jim, I enjoyed your post and realize that I have been more sheltered than most.  I have been blessed with great colleagues, whose only fault is/was that they were men and underestimated me.


My favorite part of your post was:

THAT'S COOL!!!!  I have to read up on this.  Even though I'm terrible at the basic math of physics, I "get it" at an intuitive level.
