Thanks Tim,

   That sounds like a good system. However, I did not word my previous
message clearly. What I am trying to track is the 500g and 1kg containers I
use those barrels of honey to fill. Basically I need to transfer the code
you have described onto the individual containers I sell to stores. All I
really need to do is stamp a lot number on each bottle packed. Rather than
stamp it on the label I was wondering if there is a way to mark it on the
bottom of the container. Since I pack in both glass and plastic it has to
adhere to both.
