Thank you, I stand corrected.   Glad to hear that Alabama does not have confirmed cases of feral AHB.  That's great because the bees and beeks there certainly have enough on their plates with hive beetles (my cousin is a beekeeper in Fairhope....beekeeping runs in our family!)   I made an assumption about AHB in Alabama, and that was a mistake.


So it is interesting to think about why AHB aren't in Alabama, which has a favorable climate for them temperature-wise....but it is wetter than Texas.
