selectively lifting quotes while conveniently leaving out the context (that a "rare" misapplication 
occured) is misleading to all readers.

as far as treating goes - we have formic, OA and apigaurd which do not contaminate comb. russian 
bees are also proving to be a viable solution to those who wish to use no treatments at all. 

the idea that all beekeepers big and small have few options to treat mites successfully and have to 
use the hard stuff is just as misleading of a concept IMO.
