Precis: A concise or abridged statement.

I enjoy the concise statements Aaron puts at the end of his messages. 
However I found his post starting this thread to be a little long winded 
(I'll resist the urge to quote him). So here is my attempt to precis what 
he said.

If you're someone I don't know,
Your opinions rank quite low,
But if you're someone I admire,
Your pithy words will rank much higher.

Also thinking: James Fischer could use a little precis practise (and I 
could use a lot of poetry practise).
