Personally I agree with Julian's insightful remarks:

"One of the problems with the debate about bee "language" is
that the simple fact of the honeybees' dancing seems to
dazzle people.  The whole thing makes for such a charming
story."

How many remember an American Bee Journal article in the not too distant
past where some believed they were seeing hieroglyphics in the cell bottoms
of comb?!

I'm with Dr. Wenner.
