As most who read this, there were allot of words between the introduction
and some real facts that I then came upon.

From the article and not in order but lining up in a logical manner at
least from my perspective.

"Cox took me to a bee yard where he keeps another trove of bees, up in the
mountains, away from any development or farms. There, the sound was
unmistakable — a warm buzz.

Further, as a commercial pollinator, Cox comes into contact with all the
chemicals, including neonics, used in the areas he visits, and those
chemicals can wind up in his bees.

The price per hive for crop pollination continues to increase."

At least some of us know of and adhere to the rule: Do not put your bees
in harms way. These guys have no choice

So don't cry!

Management wasn't even discussed except for pursuit of the almighty
greenback.

Mentioning the review of scientific papers by special interest groups
highlights the ongoing battle of Junk vs Good science

Here in Ontario Junk science has prevailed leading to government
legislation.

Yet, with the mega acres of neonic coated canola plants in the West,
there isn't even a wimper of negativity with great honey crops (weather
dependent).

One thing for sure, the farmers are and will be struggling more.
