Brewtech brand roller dried true brewer's yeast (from beermaking).  I'm
talking about the mix your own guys (who do it on large scale here).

You're absolutely right!  Some here are using yeast from ethanol
production.  Some find that it works, but I find that the bees don't like
it, and that it hardens like concrete!

Some also use the commercial sacked formulations (some of which contain
soy).  Megabee is catching on, which says a lot, since these guys don't
waste a penny.

Mann Lake, Global, and Norm Carey make custom mixes, which are also widely
fed by those wishing premade patties.  Some of those outfits have become
very competetive pricewise with mix your own.
