Sid - Some times I have the same problem, but found my NETSCAPE mail
reader has a solution.  Under the VIEW main heading is a sub title
called WARP lines.  A click on that bar and all messages lines are cut
to fill what ever your screen is set for.  It makes for some short lines
some times, but they are always a lot easier to read and you don't have
to scroll horizontally.
