I think that what we are talking about here is not a generalized distribution or even one that is associated with droppings from a frame as we often see and is in fact useful in diagnosing colony conditions. What I ,and I think Cam, are referring to is a small cluster of discarded wings and legs usually in a corner in my experience indicating a feeding site and to me a dead screw tells no lies.
