Once in a rare while someone makes tobacco honey here.  Now most
tobacco growers top their crops prior to flowering, so it is
unusual, but I understand not uncommonin the old days.  Bull bay
(Magnolia grandiflora) makes a dark, bitter honey in the coastal
plain of N.C.   Do you still have those slides from Israel?
