*I have not tried the 'neon' colors that Mike referenced, but for the past
three years, I have exclusively used the acrylic pens/colors sold in hobby
stores.  They come in every color imaginable and cost less than 1/3rd of
the price of Queen Marking Pens.  They are completely safe on your
skin...and on bees' thorax.  *
