In Maine on the coast around the Portland area the coltsfoot is going by,
it was two weeks early. The sliver maples bloomed almost two weeks early
also and the red maples are blooming now which is only about a week early.
It seems some things are two weeks ahead and other things only a week.
Bradford Pear, Magnolias, Japanese cherries and some dogwoods are blooming
now, two weeks early. The dandelions are just starting. In the woods
shadberry, popular, alders, and beaked hazel nuts, are blooming, the
willows have gone by. There are a bunch of bradford pears right up the
street from my house in full bloom I have a bunch of hives in my yard and
stopped by to see if the bees were on them but there was not a pollinator
on them which surprised me.

We are really dry, rain is predicted this weekend and we really need it.
The temperatures this week have been more like June.
