I guess I started a bit early.........

The outlier point,  Dave M.
I now have one hive that has lasted without any treatments for 4-5 years
and 3 hives that have lasted 2 years.  I am building my  numbers.......  I
know the only way I can really make money with my bees is  to let them go
natural; no treatment costs.  So, I am biting the bullet up  front and
incurring my losses upfront for those bees that are not disease  / mite
resistant.
Yes, this is initially expensive and mind  wrenching. I can do this because
I am a sideliner and do not depend on my  bees for a living.  It is also
counter to what our culture teaches.   But it is nature at it's
finest........
Me being able to do something  different is what makes America great.......
