The easy to remember 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5  fondant/bee fudge recipe
suggested for spring/emergency feeding is:

1 pound/pint water heated to 234º F which has had 5 pounds of sugar
stirred into it.  Much higher than the 218º F. Personally, I’d not
worry about  it.
