Dear Beeks,

Does any one have any information on policosanol?

It is used to lower LDL (bad cholesterol) and raise HDL (good
cholesterol).

It can be derived from beeswax. But from what I read it comes mostly
from
sugar cane wax.

Would it mean that it may be in the wax if we chew it or eat it?

It is a fatty alcohol.

Where would the bees get it or form it in their bodies?
