Indeed! Agreed! But. We now are developing revolutionary new tools in gene manipulation and immunology that open up the possibility of either eradicating Varroa or rendering them harmless to honey bees. I think these new tools will help us do a better job of rectifying our mistakes, ie. introducing Varroa into the honey bee population.
