Bob,

"When using a Clorox bleach solution to disinfect all you need is a small
Clorox cap full of bleach to a GALLON of water. A higher concentration will
not be more effective."

In the lab, we disinfect benchtops prior to embryo surgeries with 70% ETOH. Turns out that 70% is actually more efficacious than 95% or 100% at knocking down pathogens. My microbiologist friends say the same thing about disinfecting microbiology labs. So, perhaps more is not always better where bleach is concerned, either.

Best wishes,

Christina
