Follow up on the 60 of 60 hives I found this past weekend in the northeast that were found to be incredibly strong, first time in 10 years!. I placed a sticky board down on 6 hives and after 48 hours saw no mites. Does any one have a quanitative measure of the number of mites found and the estimated infestation levels? and treatment advisability? No mites of course means no treatment but what if I had found 10/sq foot, 20, 50 or 100, etc?
