Chris asked what to do with unfinished comb?
first, pop it into the freezer till after mite treatment is done, then
give it back to the bees. They know how to take care of it best.
or, leave it in the freezer for your splits next spring,  I suggest that
you put the whole super in a plastic garbage bag then put in  freezer.
or , extract it seperatly and use it first in your household  ---  you
can even freeze it in jars to prevent fermentation.
