Wondering if the line of investigation now might need to concentrate on the nectar and pollen production of the various plant species to determine the degree of contamination by the various pesticides and the modes of pesticide application.  Is it not feasible that some plants would transfer pesticide uptake in greater concentrations in their nectar and pollen production than others?  Also, type of soil and pH of soil might be contributing factors.
