On dry years (like this one will probably be) after the Ulmo flow - that is
supposelly the last flow in the valdivian temperate rain forest - the
colonies that are left in the mountain after it end up gathering "something
else".

I am happy this winter store, but have been wondering which plant is the
one that provides that late, mainly winter nectar.

One of the posibilities is what we call a Qintral

Well, past night I had a skype talk with a Bee - eler and this theme came
in.

He mention he have heard of a late flow of Mistletoe in Europe
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mistletoe

As both plants are of the orden Santalales - therefore somehow relatives -
I am interested on having first hand references to this Mistletoe flow. At
this stage anything can help.

Thanks in advance
