Exactly. What "some of us" are doing is defending: objectively discussing the facts.

If the facts supported an outright ban, there wouldn't be any argument. 

Furthermore, to lobby for a ban on something that does not do what you say it does, is foolish and a waste of resources.

Better choose your battles, and make sure you are right.
