Lloyd mentioned that Cleveland Syrup would ship 5gl pails of corn syrup.
Would you please provide the list their contact information. I am sure
someone would be interested in calling them. Also the contact information
for Chicago Sweetners, Indianapolis. Many sideliners and hobbyist would
welcome the opportunity to purchase syrup with out chasing someone that
buys in bulk. I intend to present this information to our local beekeepers
association and to the State association so that more beekeepers will have
access to this data.
I partner with 2 other beekeepers in purchasing #55 HFCS by the tanker
load. We provide syrup to several hobbyist while we can. One thing that
should be mentioned when purchasing bulk that 10% water should be added to
the #55 to prevent the syrup from geling when is cools off.
Information of this sort shared freely over this list creates and
invaluable asset to other beekeepers.

Thanks
Frank Wyatt
