...i've got an ulster observation hive on order with plans to add a 
mic/amplifier (i've done this before in regluar lang hive), and 
a "sniffer tube" (hopefully with a one way valve so the bees can't be 
breathed on)....observation isn't only done with the eyes :)

i'd be suprised if the levels of any mold/fungi in hive air would be 
enough to cause any discomfort...they do tend to keep a clean house 
with lots of ventilation afterall.
