"What has been done to cows to achieve this is not very pleasant. Some cows
are now barely able to walk properly and I saw on the TV the other day that
in some instances they are now considering brassieres for cows because their
udders have become so grossly enlarged.
Best wishes

Not to mention that the life expectancy for a dairy cow is now around 3-4
years due to "burn-out" before they're slaughtered. Normal life expectancy
would be close to 20 years--not feasible for a production herd but a long
way from the current 3-4 years.
