Friends,
I was not able to follow the whole discussion devoted to this phenomenon
so be so kind and excusse me if I would repeat anything written earlier.
As far as I know shriveled wings point with the highest probability at the
heawy demage of adult bees caused by the tracheal mite Acarapis woodi
Rennie. The first tracheal trunk in thorax should be investigated under
a microscope to see if different developing stages of mites live in it.
