I guess I need to restate my question.  What I am concerned with is the 
resumption of egg laying.  Should the queen be allowed to lay for 1, 2, or 3 
weeks, or should she be caged immediately after mating? With the sudden 
cessation of egg laying does it damage the ovarioles to the point that the 
queen will never be as productive as if she had been caged at a different 
point in her laying?
