But, all of them but one are already dead, didn't live one year. Of course,
I will begin again but now I am a year behind in the trial. And so it goes.

Be more of an optimist,  you could say your 2 years ahead!  They didn't wait
till late in the 2nd year to fail.

Interestingly enough I got my APHIS report today on mites (after pesticides)
my oldest "survivor hive"  which was 3 deeps.  Had a 6.8 % infestation.  It
died shortly thereafter.   
It was a 2nd year survivor which had generated huge amounts of honey the
first year,  and was a Feral hive.

As the old Indian in Josey wales movie said   "we shale endeavor to
persevere"
