I think you're doubling up here and there.

>>If frames are damaged:
>>9 frames *  $0.80/frame                                                = $
>>7.20
>>
>>1 hour to  assemble wooden frames *  $15/hour  labor  =  $15.00

Realistically?  I can recall throwing out maybe one frame last season from wax
moth damage.  And we had some doozies that had been left behind the shed faaaaar
too long.   Figure out how many frames you actually lose and just include that
percentage.

Likewise, labour to assemble frames should only be for that percentage
replaced.  And if you're claiming replacement expenses for the frame, then you
shouldn't claim the .75 hour to clean the super - that's more like a 2 minute
scrape down without frames, and you need to consider whether that scrape down
would have happened anyway - we scrape all boxes at season end.

>>Cost of electricity, taxes, maintenance, etc. of honey  house.
>>This is a swag but estimate
>>$15.00

Yes, it's a swag, but aside from any electricity used directly in this, it is an
existing expense that is not increased by this activity.  If you acknowledge it
as a cost here, then you have to acknowledge that it is mitigating the expense
against other activities, actually increasing the utility of your honey house.

>>9 sheets beeswax foundation *  $12/20sheets              =  $  5.40
I assume this is replacement foundation.

>>Value of wax that was destroyed:
$5/# wax * est .33# wax/frame * 9 frames                      =  $15
Do you have NO recovery at all?  We render and still recover a good amount of
wax.

>>Value of honey for bees to draw out wax:
>>est .333# wax /frame * 9 frames * 8.4 * $5/# for  honey    = $ 126

Have you deducted the weight of the foundation that you put in the frame in the
first place?  After all they should only get credit for the wax they created to
draw out the walls, not the foundation that was already there, and that you have
already claimed in the value of wax that was destroyed.
