I think you're doubling up here and there.

Realistically?  I can recall throwing out maybe one frame last season from wax 
moth damage.  And we had some doozies that had been left behind the shed faaaaar 
too long.   Figure out how many frames you actually lose and just include that 
percentage. 


Likewise, labour to assemble frames should only be for that percentage 
replaced.  And if you're claiming replacement expenses for the frame, then you 
shouldn't claim the .75 hour to clean the super - that's more like a 2 minute 
scrape down without frames, and you need to consider whether that scrape down 
would have happened anyway - we scrape all boxes at season end.

Yes, it's a swag, but aside from any electricity used directly in this, it is an 
existing expense that is not increased by this activity.  If you acknowledge it 
as a cost here, then you have to acknowledge that it is mitigating the expense 
against other activities, actually increasing the utility of your honey house.

I assume this is replacement foundation.

Do you have NO recovery at all?  We render and still recover a good amount of 
wax.

Have you deducted the weight of the foundation that you put in the frame in the 
first place?  After all they should only get credit for the wax they created to 
draw out the walls, not the foundation that was already there, and that you have 
already claimed in the value of wax that was destroyed.
