We had our coldest, snowiest April in recent times and the warmest May since records have been kept.
Winter losses were 60% but now in June my survivors are filling supers at a good clip. All the clovers are blooming , but not the Melliotus, sweet clovers. The trifoliums, white, Alsike, Red.
One super filled with nectar, 2 more getting filled, and new packages are putting away some. Good times!
Up here it's the clovers that give the June/July flow, Sweet Clovers should come on soon.
A crazy year for sure; in early May everything came on at once - Willow, Poplar, Aspen, early bulbs, dandelions, all within 3 weeks.
I may get some honey! Huzzah.
