Not in my circles.

If you go back about a decade when we had several German beekeepers on BEE-L
there is quite a bit of discussion on the oxidizer and even discussions on
ways to make homemade ones.

I think the oxidizer came first and the drizzle method later.

I think Allen has oxidizer info on his website.
