In that sense, do not confuse with the "resistant bees"  issue. The
frecuency of crossing this threshold will be dependant on that said
resistance, but it is not a pre-requisite for implementing an IPM approach.

In the age of varroa IPM only could mean less treatment, but not No
treatment.

On the other hand, the selected treatment will depend on the inclinations,
desires and taste of each beekeeper.

The reinfectation of varroa is a key issue for a need for coordinated
treatments at neigborhood level, which in essence means a new way to deal
with IPM and the need for a redefinition of threasholds at the neigborhood
level.
