Thanks for your advice, Gene.  My new (purchased queen) is due to
arrive on August 7, and I will very definitely make sure, before I put
her in, that there's no queen or queen cell in the hive.  I believe
that this is the case now (or was on Saturday), but I will check again.

What would be your concern in this respect?
