I've been doing a lot of alcohol washes at my home yard. At times, bees start bumping my head when I start working with the jars of bees in rubbing alcohol. I don't know whether they are stimulated by odors of the alcohol-killed bees, the alcohol, or something else. But their odd behavior is noticeable.

I mentioned this in conversation, but the cheaper wood alcohol is an irritant to them and cause them to be very aggressive while doing washes even 20-30 feet from the hive.
