In Northern Virginia we have one member who produces the basswood
sections (12 oz) - except this year he had no nectar flow and he didn't
get any. Last year I think he sold them at $6 - $6.50 in farm markets.
Ross Rounds at 8 oz sell for around $5.50 - $5.75 this year. For
comparison, farm market prices for 1 pound extracted is $5.25 - 6.50.
Supermarket price of Sioux Bee clover is $5.29/lb plus tax.
