Most of us are indeed familiar with Bt.  However, if you read the article,
you'd find that " lab members tested more than 2,000 strains of bacteria
from eight types of honey from the United States and New Zealand."

They were testing the toxins put out by live bacteria--not the cry toxins
produced by the plants.
