If you are interested in some native plants for fallow or inactive fields 
and nooks and crannies of your land http://www.nrcs.usda.gov/ has a program 
to benefit pollinators including honey bees. Seed is available at discounted 
rates. Contact NRCS for your state. Some of state colleges are involved and 
some times there is even student help with the labor.
