During swarm season I keep an empty hive in the back of my truck so I can respond fast when I get a call.  Unfortunately most of the calls come in while I am at work.  One day I went out to get something out of the truck.  A swarm was in the process of moving into my empty hive.  All I had to do was plug the opening and take it to one of my sites.  Couldn't ask for an easier way to catch a swarm!  Robert Rauch in Missouri.
