What a surprising letter from Moray Bee Dinosaurs.
The first paragraph and a half is correct but the rest is inaccurate and misleading.
It is true that the license for Cruiser has been cancelled for the third consecutive year but what is more important is that the practise of granting a one year license pretesting research was declared illegal and the independence of the ANES (French agency for food, environmental and occupational health and safety) and of the European AESA was questioned by the same court in February of this year.
In spite of this, the Minister of Agriculture continues to grant an illegal license in December knowing that by the time the court declares the authorisation invalid the seed will have been sown and the crop harvested. In any democracy where the rule of law reigned this would not be tolerated and certainly not in Britain or the USA. If the Moray bee Dinosaurs think the British and American regulatory bodies have been castrated then by comparison ours have been eviscerated.
