recently  - 30% for 2007-8 and 15% (is that 'high'?) for 2008-9,  but to  
describe those as 'record numbers' is simply misleading - there have been  
very much higher losses in the past.


The biggest recent crash was in 1987 but that was before the interweb had  
been invented so nobody noticed.  The World didn't come to an end.
