I have noticed the same thing with Italians they seem to be have less
painful stings compared to both the Buckfast (sting rarely) and local
A.m.melifera (sting regularly) in fact according to the test for AHB in the
states my remaining meilifera would easily qualify with over  stings per
inspection.
